Meaningless

The World is outside me.

By Cecilia Maria CimminoPublished 2 years ago β€’ 1 min read
My old drawing (2019)

I'm walking, slowly, inside my loud mind.

I deserve to stay in silent.

In a corner of the mind.

Here it's loud but also confusing.

I feel cold.

"Silence! Please"

I see no meaning shapeless figures.

I try to catch them, but my hands touch the air.

I remain in silence.

The Meaningless is my home.

The silent is my right.

The World is outside me.

I was walking but now I have chains on my wristels.

Everywhere shutdown.

The stars are falling,

I follow with my eyes their beautiful light.

They are dying.

"Take with me, take me away. Here is Meaningless!"

But they are dead

and can't hear me.
