I start a mere few drops in the ocean, blue to the naked eye, but we all know the truth,
The truth that below me is destruction, and day by day nothing is done,
And yet I get to rise, taking a break from the devastation I rise, ascending through all,
I see everything green, blue , red all colours the earth has to offer,
I am one of the lucky few able to ascend to the heavens, ascend so far that the vast ocean I came from is but a tiny speck to me, knowing it is time,
Time for the rays of the sun so red to the core,
To be shadowed into the darkness , as I turn from white to grey
To turn darker and darker until Zeus himself is looking down on me as he strikes his yellow bolts of lightening through the grey, down onto the earth,
And then it is my time to fall, and fall quickly I do,
So fast that within a blink of an eye I go from the colourlessness of the heavens to the transparency of the sea,
For this is the cycle I am forever stuck in, this never-ending cycle,
I ascend to the top and fall straight back down again,
But I say no more, no more,
For the next time I see Zeus he will not strike me,
For I am determined to be better than I was and am destined to be,
I will be better
