Me

Reflecting on the world and my place in it

The stars shine the brightest in the darkest night

and the night is most black before the rise of sun,

my feelings are always torn apart

in the moments leading to tears of joy.

In this world that you and I live

and beyond the horizon of where we wish

exsists a common conception about

the glass cover of the ocean that reflects out.

We gaze deep into the soul of the night

and long to understand while looking

in the mirror.

Our destiny is up to us; we walk on the earth with the heavyest touch.

May we understand some day who we are,

not by thinking about what we've done

but by the things we will do.
