Me

What I see

Me
Photo by Rafael Garcin on Unsplash

I’m uncharted territory.

Displayed appropriately.

Spread open,

for the world to see.

Descending willingly,

past glimpses, fleetingly.

Displaying,

all my hypocrisy.

And I listlessly

agree to faultlessly

let you place

All the blame on me,

And I let you defeat me,

keep my heart and soul from me.

because I thought

it would make my life so easy.

So what does this make me?

Though the results were exceedingly

or maybe only

Theoretically

For the best…

sad poetry
