Me Is All I Really Need to Be
You are beautiful.

When I was quite little my daddy told me not to be one of those girls
I was young so I didn't really understand
I thought being one of those girls would be profound you see
They always got the guys
And it was always just me
People laughed with them not at them
When I was quite little my daddy told me not to be one of those girls
Was it just me or were they really pretty
Now that I'm older I think I understand
It's never too late for me
Being one of those girls isn't quite profound you see
I'm me and that's really all I need to be
And if people laugh at me then so be because I'm me and me is really all I need to be
It’s about finding yourself and understanding you are enough.
