Maybe I am a doll

with legs that stretch back and touch my long hair

always ready to play when wanted

never crying

my tear ducts plastic

My body hollow

could be ripped apart

popped back in again

with no pain on my end

I will never disappoint

you’ll only outgrow me

(please outgrow me)

and it’ll take me millions of years to rot

so I’ll wait for the next one to come along

to pull my arms out

and tell me that I need them

when I am always the one to say yes

This is beautifully heartbreaking and unfortunately relatable. I love the use of analogy here

Some tough emotions here. I think the “please outgrow me” hit the hardest
