May Peace Come to Call 🙏
So many hearts torn apart by war

May Peace Come to Call
In the grip of battle, where silence is lost,
Lives are shattered, the human cost.
Echoes of anguish fill the air,
While leaders turn blind to the suffering laid bare.
On fields once vibrant, now marred and scarred,
The voices of anguish grow weary and hard.
Troops march on, with weight on their soul,
Each step a reminder of the toll it extols.
May peace come to call, while the cannons are hushed,
As the cries of the children grow desperate and crushed.
In the ashes of turmoil, let compassion be found,
For those on the ground, with their hopes tightly bound.
Let us raise our voices, in unison strong,
For a world without war, we will sing our song.
In the heart of despair, let our message be clear:
May peace come to call, and end all the fear.
Please god let 2025 be the years of hope 🙏

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

We can all hope and this a great poem about what soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen do for us all even all the emergency service profession too. We need to give peace a chance. Good work.
