May I Become
the only reminder needed

May I greet discomfort as a dear friend and the mirror a story unfolding.
May I release the shackles that bound my growth and gather what feeds the roots of my uprising.
Let the past be a reminder—not a cage,
A call that must echo:
I am not broken. I am unlearning.
May I be patient to hear, in quiet mornings, the whisper that says:
"Everyday, you are worth choosing."
If I forget who I am, may I find myself again in the brave act of trying.
Let the present be a reminder with every breath:
I am not behind. I am becoming.
