May Day

It's the way you make me feel..

My 5-hydroxytryptamine is off of the Richter!..

Erotic, spotted hyenas in the wild..

Namaste, the lizards are screaming, “May Day”!…

Curious, how my heart beat sounds..

In the back of your head..

I trust, that you’re listening..

While the lilacs are blooming…

The people are always watching..

As we turn rubber into gold..

Because you’d always rather cross the line..

And I’d rather be piercing tires…

Glee, we roam with gasoline..

As the police charge down the road..

Sirens and flashing red hues, the amorous carnival..

A light show greater than any Supernova...

Dream-catchers, drugs and dopamine..

“Why are you so giddy?”..

You ask, as you stand beside me..

Dandelions, brutality, shattered pieces of our history...

Always there to remind me…

Even if our path is unconventional..

That does not absolutely mean..

It is without righteousness…

By whatever means..

You salute me..

Once more..

Just as you go…
