If the world, went crazy

definitely chronologically

from 2020 to 2022

You know what I do?

Eat a big slice of humble pie,

cry and try something new...

A global pandemic nastier

than the common flu

The haves have

whole countries

of have-nots blue!

Only flakey

Or

corny thing,

I will consume

is fried ice cream,

enough for two!

Mentally on a

continuous hamster wheel;

Of constant cabin fever-

If the world, went crazy

definitely chronologically

from 2020 to 2022

You know what I’d say?

Those who refuse to wear masks,

are thick headed

as malted milkshakes

Threw up my hands,

all politeness out the window

No I will not, shake your hands

without sanitizing after

I don’t wish for you,

to blow out candles

on a cake

we’re NOT

swappin spit,

today!

Keep your distance,

six feet away!

YAWN

pardon me, bless you,

cover your mouth

when you sneeze

Wash your hands after

wiping your own ass!

If the world, went crazy

definitely chronologically

from 2020 to 2022

You know what I read?

State school closures,

businesses too!

Number of school shooting

decreases,

as covid cases hit

peaks like mountains

Cure-all’s ingest bleach

Swallow dose of ivermectin

Come again?

Annihilate a whole mink,

and

Neighborhood cat population

Carryover a covid mutation

strain like eyes

The biggest

devastation was the riot

on the capital building...

The sky won’t fall,

a shot, is not

being a sheep

its a civic duty-

No microchip embedded

in the skin-

May that let your misinformed

head spin!

Mask aren’t for

medical professionals

Hospitals beds are

completely maxed,

The sick are waiting

hours upon hours to be

treated

Some states are in crisis,

reaching out to another

for patient care

As many still believe covid

simply isn’t there...

To all who say, untrue

won’t believe

till it happens to you;

No one is invincible

enough to be immune

Quit sticking your nose

into things

pinch the wire,

it has no

affect below your nostrils

let humanity get back

a sense of normalcy

conform to

the curve of society

Mask for one, mask for all!

Paper, plastic, cotton,

not just for grocery sacks

Come on y’all!
