Mary, Love not Lust!

---poem---

By Maryam BatoolPublished about a year ago 1 min read

I asked Papa one day, ' Why love dies after a time?'

'It dies with ease, It dies like trees', is all he said

I asked my Daddy,'What's the point of LOVE then?'

'It tears you apart, It sears your heart', is all he said

I asked Father,' Did it tore you? Did it turned you?'

'No, I still love her-- No, nothing's above her', is all he said

I asked Baba,'When would your love end?'

'Til the day I die, Til I say last bye', is all he said

I asked my Buddy, ' What is love then?'

'What ends is LUST, What stays is Love', is all he said

He asked me,'Mary! learn Love not Lust'

'Mary! Love not lust, Mary! trust the love', is all he said

Author's note;

Love is a word purest in the world. 'The pure' never dies---

What dies is Lust--- It ends fast. Love remains infinite--- In your heart
