This is for Mikeydred's March prompt

Fate is not so kind---she sometimes splashes you. Michelle Liew

Shoes were dry---then fate intervened.

A small step, and She betrayed.

Droplets smirked, the puddles schemed,

Sneaky wet pools on Earth,

Waiting to unleash.

My socks are doomed.

Cold and soaked

Fate wins,

Splat.
