Many pieces, not much to hold
Will you little self recognize you must you came face-to-face? (A poetry)

You can’t fix my pieces,
Why do you cry at my numb soul
It is what you gave me
And I took with all my strength.
Do not try to glue me together
My heart is shattered beyond repair
All the pieces now lay inside my chest
Hugging one another, curing the loneliness.
But they still mourn
What could have been
What never was
What stayed too long to see my mess
I knew that I wasn’t easy
Then they knew too
Then the entire world knew one by one
But neither was this world, yet I stayed.
I stayed for my wishes that might come
If it comes without warning
I wanted to be there, to greet and grin
If it comes at last, I want to be here.
