in reckless moments,

true and

frail,

a wretched cluster forms

***

in knotted throat.

the trails unshaped

burgeon here,

but never lead to home

***

in storms.

the waves will swiftly swell to

heave your anchors high. be careful,

dear, as high water comes

***

in hellish days.

try not to lose your mind.

I am a non-binary, trans-masc writer. I work to dismantle internalized structures of oppression, such as the gender binary, class, and race. My writing is personal but anecdotally points to a larger political picture of systemic injustice.
