Man Child

I Probably Shouldn’t Even Think It

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished 7 months ago Updated 7 months ago 1 min read

Toothpaste on the counter

hair shavings in the sink

A pile of dirty laundry

well, I mean, what is a girl to think

I never wanted to be your mama and sure as hell won’t be your maid

it’s not a contract to be signed

And it’s not an even trade

you’re only proving that you’re nothing but a man child

I’m able to bring home my own bacon

and I can fry it in a pan

So why exactly is everyone making

me feel like I need a man?

I don’t need it baby

I don’t even want to try

I can’t trade my peace on maybe

I’m sorry, I can’t settle for a man child

You got it, Kelli. I can honestly say I am not a man-child, thank goodness. I take care of myself, and I am proud of it. Shopping, cleaning .cooking, you name it I do it. I tell everyone I would make a good wife for someone. 😊😊Unfortunately, there are many 'man-childs' out there.

Way to go girl! Let him have it. His mom would probably slap him silly.

Hell yeah! Say it again, girl.

  • Nor should you. Always loved that commercial. Still find myself singing the jingle now & again.

I have a husband who I'm always cleaning up after, I can totally relate!
