Mama Is a Sunrise~ Evelyn Tooley Hunt
A symbol of warmth and love,
She cuddles her own like no one else.
When it comes to correction too,
You can always count on Mama.
Her warm embrace is like butter melting on hot bread,
She's as sweet as milk and honey.
Oh, Mama, how much I love her so!
Her words soothe the heart of a crying child.
Even her husband knows this—
When anger rages within him,
Or he’s desolate or confused,
Mama’s words always seem to calm him down.
Mama is not perfect, though.
She has her flaws; she falters from time to time.
But this reveals her human nature.
She’s not a superwoman or heroine—
But if she were, she'd be the best in the world!
The world might not know her, but I do.
She’s my mother, my love, my superwoman.
I love you, Mum!
