Back always
pressed against
the wall
entrance clear
slowly rising
I didn't
meet the floor
all is well
cagily scanning
once more
before making
my move
across the
open space
like an animal
inside a small enclosure
always coming back
to another wall
smashing a fist
pivoting
wide stance
weight down
no surprises here
except that noise
and what's that
on the floor
no
better get it later
wasting energy's
for the foolish
for the captured
the dead
not me
I'll leave it there
