Making magic

The art of imagination

Do you love to sing?

Do you like to dance?

Would you act out a story

If somebody gave you the chance?

Painters are always admired

Whether you create one painting or five

And we all know that writers get lots of praise

For stories of dragons and knights.

So when you gather your parts for a rocket ship

And your big sister rolls her eyes

Ignore her; in the great space of your mind,

That rocket ship flies through the sky.

Imagination is the very first step

To a world where creators thrive

So use your colors, your songs and your dreams

To let magic fill your life!

About the Creator

Jill Harper-Judd

I've been writing poetry and short stories since childhood....but my life has often been chaotic so (mental) space to write can be hard to find. I am a lover of words and the worlds we can create with them. I seek beauty in all things.
