Making a Bomb
True Story Poem

It all starts with buying a car.
First you do your research on cars and you shop around.
Then you save some money, at least $2000, and if you're poor like me, that will take some time. Then you buy a car.
Then you pay for the tax, tag, registration, and insurance which usually comes to about $500 or $600.
Then you put gas in it. So if it has a 14 gallon tank, you'll spend about $45 to fill it up.
Then you drive around and you feel like a badass for awhile because now you know what freedom and independence feels like.
Then one of your headlight bulbs goes out. Ouch. That's going to cost about $20.
Then your car is low on transmission fluid and needs oil. That's going to cost another $20.
Then someone steals your gas cap and hubcaps. Now your car looks stupid and to stop it from looking stupid, you're going to have to spend another $40, but hey you've got to replace your windshield wipers too, and that's another $20 for the cheap ones.
So you tell the insurance company that somebody vandalized your car and stole your hubcaps. The insurance company denies your claim even though you've spent the last six months paying $200 per month. Yep, even though they've gotten $1200 out of you, they don't want to cover $100 or $200 in damages.
BOOM! That's when the bomb explodes.

Then insurance companies wonder why people do not want their insurance.
