Is It Love Or An Obsession

She dreamt of him in midnight enchantments and denied wishes

She denounced the prophecy and summoned galactic witches

“Make him love me,” she screamed into every darkened space

She medaled in the affairs of spells and potions to feel his embrace

She tucked folded letters into her shoes and jars onto shelves

She chanted riddles, read scriptures, called on the fairies and elves

“Make him need me,” she begged at every chapel, every alter

She tried every trick she could but all attempts did falter

She hung suspended in her unrequited feelings tortured

Not able to go backwards, Unable to move forwards

“Make him miss me,” she pleaded to the heavens and the hells

She wasted away behind the bars of her love cells

Frozen in her own formulas of want and desire

Obsession and yearning that conjured in her fire

The portrayal of being suspended in unrequited feelings and trapped in love cells evokes a sense of emotional imprisonment, great job, thank you very much for sharing, love your works, hope to read more, subscribed.
