“Magnetic”
These days I’m just trying to get back
to my normal self.
Some days I pick up a tobacco pipe,
but never dip or cigarette smoke.
On casual days, I like to sip and drink
wine, let us be inclined.
Wander around and strum along,
play guitar or entertain a pun,
never is it scarce for fun.
I am polarized by your stare.
When our communication goes awry,
It’s like a solar flare deionized.
By you I am magnetized.
