Magically they appeared
Rooted in the ground
So I volunteered
To learn something profound
*
Ingested then digested
Now we're going down
Time to be mended
This is world renowned
*
Next time you grow
Know where to go
So that you can always flow
With the very best of pros
*
Visions from the gods
And blanketed by warm feelings
I like those odds
And all of their teachings
*
Mycelium equals freedom
When psilocybin gets eaten

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing. They open you up to the possibility that everything you know is wrong. -Terence McKenna
This is my poem about my experience on magic mushrooms. I believe that psychedelics are profound teachers and have been demonized. They are non-addictive and studies have shown that they have many medicinal uses. I think magic mushrooms are sacred and something to be celebrated. What do you think about them?
