Madelyn my little lion,

God blessed me with all of this fire,

Keeps me on my toes,

It’s you I admire.

You don’t let up my little lion,

This isn’t luck, your a blessing.

When I was pregnant,

Yes, I was stressing.

Circumstances had me in my head,

Had to see beyond the misconception.

My capabilities,

Self doubt,

On a lonely path,

Is what I felt.

When you were born I would never forgot,

You were my biggest dream,

In the nutshell of your being.

What did I do to deserve your love?

You were my answered prayers,

But truth be told inside I was aching.

My love for you is unconditional,

My shining star your irreplaceable.

Just you and I till the end of this world,

Your the motivation I needed,
