I never followed the ancient books
For they gave me unpleasant looks
They said two kiwi and one banana
I said two strawberry and one Savannah
I always missed them huge mangoes
Causing pain, disruption and chaos
They read the book advising to wash
But they poured the Cordial in the squash
They said one bottle was enough
Served with arctic ice, to make you cough
One spoon of raspberry
Without blending like the Sherry
Large pieces of fruit in a capacious jug
Reposing for hours, as they had a drug
The freezer welcomed their flavour
While the cold nurtured their nature
