I see Lucy, you see me,

Staring at the sky with my heart on fire and

I know you tell me all the time,

But the stars shine anyway

And

I know you know that I don’t know;

magic in this world wasn’t meant to show but,

I try to tell you all the time, how the stars shine anyway…

…as you walk away.

Even on the darkest day,

even when the clouds are falling,

You will always hear me say,

Nothing quite like this morning air,

As you turn away

Every time the winds of change

Blow me into seasons storming,

I will always find a way,

Following the rainbows forming there,

While yours fade away,

But I say…

I see Lucy, you see me:

Staring at the sky with my heart on fire and,

I know you tell me all the time,

But the stars shine anyway

And

I know you know that I don’t know:

Magic in this world wasn’t meant to show but

I try to tell you all the time,

How the stars shine anyway,

So don’t look away.

Everything in black and grey,

Everything you see in diamonds,

Dream in colour every day,

Wishing you could fly and find me there,

But you turn away.

And

I know where the story stays,

They were never born to feel her

Dancing in the pouring rain,

Hanging by the moonlight on her hair,

As she fades away…

But I say:

I see Lucy, you see me,

Staring at the sky with my heart on fire and

I Know you tell me all the time,

Still the stars shine anyway,

And

I know you know that I don’t know:

magic in this world wasn’t meant to show but,

I try to tell you all the time,

How the stars shine anyway,

Yeah the stars shine any way,

So don’t look away.

About the Creator

Star Roseelk

Give me a word that fills your throat,

And rolls through barely broken lips,

Whose sound mellifluously drips and

Tumbles off of tied tongue-tips…
