Loving a Ghost

Some Ghost don't Haunt- some just..

By PSYGENIUSPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

I whisper your name into the night,

but the wind carries it where I can't

follow.

I search for you in songs we never

finished,

in echoes of laughter trapped in old

walls.

I still leave space for you at the table,

still flinch at your absence beside me.

The world moves, yet I am frozen,

dancing with a memory that won't

hold me back.

You were a storm I never learned to

outrun,

a dream I wake up missing.

I don't know how to love again,

not without feeling like I'm betraying

the past.

You left,

but your shadow stayed.

Tell me, love-

how do I move where you are not?
