Love You Just The Same

Despite our arguments sometimes
Where you had your bad days
And I had mine as well
Despite through the hard times
The loneliness we had
The sadness we held
When you’d ignore me
Out of anger or annoyance
Even if it upsets me a little
Through it all, I loved you still
I can’t be angry at you
And what would I do without you
If you weren’t here
To comfort me as I did for you
And when you’d ask me
How I put up with your antics
And will it ever be the same
If we argue or disagree
If you hurt me accidentally
I just smiled at you
And I said,
“I’ll love you just the same.”
