Accepting my new receptionist position

The galaxy, impressed with my dope application

I’m tasked with creating a universal fruition

One that benefits both human and terrestrial ambition

While catching myself up on some international emails

I was approached by a distinguished visitor

He was long, tall and gray, and resembled a snail

accompanied by a being with eyes like binoculars

I asked, how I could help and he said with a smile

Could you please help us find some fun things to do, for awhile

I said, absolutely, that’s what I’m here for

Please come right this way, and then, left through the door

I said, I don’t know about you, but when visiting earth

I love to hit the amusement parks first

There is something about being flung through the air

The sun on your face and the wind in your hair

Just be sure to fasten your lap straps up tight

And get ready for your first earthly coaster of flight

They came back all disheveled, full of excitement and said

The up and the down motion went straight to our heads

Can you suggest a place where we can get us some grub

I took them to the food court to the inclusive pub

They ate and they ate and downed it all with a beer

They said we will certainly send all our friends here

You sure did a great job making sure we felt welcome

Coming to earth has been incredibly awesome

Can we schedule a time for our next rendezvous

Maybe some swimming and a beach barbecue

Whatever we do, we hope you will accompany us too
