The history of our land has not always been grand
Since Christopher Columbus wrecked the land
Then called it’s natives, outside of their name
Savages; while genocide became the new game
The ideology of the country is nothing new
It was just white washed and called red, white and blue
Shades that were not rich and white
The wrong ones were pillaged and abused
Slowly the rich are outnumbered by the poor
So they devised differences to even the score
Native and not Black, Oh good you’re Irish not Italian
What kind of Asian and no Puerto Ricans
You can sit with us, cause you’re not like them
Social rankings between colors began to grow
The rich had every advantage, every man could know
Hatred dug their roots deeper into the soil
Any chance to rise up, the plan would be foiled
Tribes wiped out and made to walk deadly trails
Given diseased blankets to make them frail
Collecting up anyone who seemed Asian enough
Let’s blame all of them,
For the San Francisco bubonic plague
We will not help, let them rot away
1830 Indian Removal, Indian Appropriations
Homestead, Dawes Act all initiated
Communities became smaller and harder to unite
Which only appeased a rich man’s life
Men in positions of power found ways to gain more
MSG is from seaweed but not to Dr Robert Ho Man Kwok
Questionable facts from a rich man’s lies
Giving poor straight white men a slightly better life
Oh racism doesn’t exist, it is in your head
Gaslighting you do, let’s burn it all down instead
Blacks, we gave you your freedom what do you want?!
The removal of Black Codes that lay around to taunt
Colorism against your own creates it’s own hue,
While incomplete beauty standards only match a few
Yet they’ll spend more time copying the rest
Creating a privilege to think they were the best
Yet their false privilege weakened them
Because they all got a spurious gold star from them
The unwanted educated themselves to be the cream of crop
And with a million degrees and a stunning smile
Our efforts were worth nothing in comparison by miles
White women benefited from our fight as well
Segregated suffrage rights but they won’t tell
And you can’t teach those who turn their cheeks
To turn a blind eye to the patriarchal lies
To secure their seat to an imaginary social construct
They’ll bend over freely to the corrupt
Secure your seat on the floor next to the a throne
Man made and boosted of human bones
Decades of work to move everyone forward
Because we believe in humanity and community
And not just for the colored
We tried to invite, we tried to be together
Generational hatred grew further and further
Saluting each other in private and now public
Can’t call it what it is, so they’ll say it’s Roman
While comfortably sitting on the wrong side of history
I look at our losses and what we may lose again eventually
My anger grows at how much fake patriots do not love this country
Oh I voted because of this and I voted for that
You willingly voted against your neighbors back
I look at my country and I ask ”What did you do?!”
You voted against your neighbor because they’re not like you
One day there will be no one else left to hate
When they come for you too

I wish the patriots had genuine love for this country
These “patriots” are not about country not about neighbor not about anything but themselves. They call themselves “Christians “ but it is only by name just as the title “Patriot” which they were like a badge.
