Love Takes a Go

On timeless web

If you could weave a bridge

from this kiss

and the next,

from shared breath

to what waits tomorrow

would it be silver, blue,

yellow and filled with hope

dreams longing to arise,

dawn of emotions

treading in the forest

of lost heartbreak

that goes on running

until there's no path

left to take

and darkness engulfs precious gem

my own, yours

whose heart was mending

needed care

whose smile flies with the clouds

now that home stays in heart

and spirit?

***

Sunny cheeks

and the joy

a jasmine hug spreads in the night

I wish I'd known you sooner

one day, lifetime ago

minutes pass in electric sparkles

when I'm with you

tomorrow is now

and the future

adds hues to soul, the path

to fly above the ocean

to dream and walk

under each mountain

higher than chance,

beyond luck

and regrets.

***

The day I saw you the first time

is etched on tapestry

and glass,

shards of sadness

mended together

one love to conquer fear

and the anguish

of walking lone path

in twilight.

***

We share sunset,

make our light

amber glows in our home,

roses grow deep

thorns guarding love

fragrance I had forgotten

stays in heart.

***

I cannot be alone again

you are my home,

my sunlit garden

way to myself

and back

a rainbow lingers in the night.

***

In love,

touching clouds

and moonbeams

my wish came true,

you are a part of me

as I abide

in you.
