Longing verses that come and go

A beautiful story

That has been lost

You are on my life's journey

Gives color to my poetry

In my dreams and desires

I skipped all the prayers

I want you to be happy passing time

Even without my presence

By your side

When longing covers

Sadness gave way

To tears

Resentment and anger

Become one

I do not know what to do

I want to spit out

All these flavours

Like a volcano that spews out

All its contents when it erupts

We've been as close as a pulse

Then far to the ends of the earth

We were once

As warm as the morning sun

Then cooled

As cold as the night breeze
