Ice cream on a cone, any flavor

We eat quickly, greedily while it’s cold

Feeling its integrity and texture with our tongues

Sweet and sloppy, it melts in the heat

Softening the hard edges of our waffle cone

We hurry to finish, savoring,

left sticky, and wanting more.

Great description of ice cream cones and I could taste it - not my fave, but always in a cup, never a cone, but my friends all want that cone!!
