Love isn't supposed to be like this: shedding tears while making excuses for your partner. What you need isn't just someone to make you laugh. What truly matters is someone who can silently embrace all your vulnerability when you're feeling down.

But you've always been too kind, repeatedly giving in, repeatedly putting yourself in a difficult position, holding on, enduring, pretending nothing's wrong. He simply acted so well at first, tricking you into thinking that's what love looks like.

You've endured these days not because he was so good to you, but because you believed too much in that "future that might get better." You thought happiness would eventually arrive, but all you expected was more disappointment.

Leave him, let go of yourself, and stop using imagined tenderness to mask the coldness of reality. Someone truly worthy of your love won't let you bear so much pain alone.
