Oh, the flame that once burned bright,

Now fades, a flicker in the night.

A love so pure, a bond so strong,

Now shattered, like a broken song.

Tears like pearls, they gently fall,

Echoing a mournful, haunting call.

Promises made, now left behind,

Scattered fragments, a shattered mind.

The sun that once lit up our days,

Now hidden behind endless haze.

The laughter that once filled the air,

Now silenced, a heavy burden to bear.

A love once cherished, now apart,

Leaving scars upon the heart.

The ache, the pain, the emptiness,

A wound that lingers, a cruel duress.

But in the midst of darkest night,

A glimmer of hope, a ray of light.

For love may fade, but never die,

It lingers on, a bittersweet goodbye.

So let us cherish what we had,

The joy, the laughter, the love so mad.

For though we part, our souls entwined,

A love once true, forever enshrined.

A parting ways, a heart in sorrow,

A love that once knew no tomorrow.

A story now ending, a chapter closed,

A farewell bid, emotions exposed.

The stars that once shone in our eyes,

Now dulled with tears, a love's demise.

The dreams we shared, a distant memory,

Now shattered, lost in this reverie.

The touch that once set us ablaze,

Now a distant echo, lost in haze.

The words we spoke, now left unspoken,

A silence that leaves hearts broken.

Yet in the midst of pain and sorrow,

A chance to heal, a brighter morrow.

For though we part, our souls set free,

A new beginning, a destiny to see.

So let us treasure what we had,

The good, the bad, the sweet and sad.

For though we part, love's imprint remains,

A lesson learned, with wisdom gained.
