Love's Bitter Sting
A Tale of Heartache and Healing

In shadows cast by love's cruel game,
I sing the tale of one in pain,
A heart once whole, now torn in two,
By love's betrayal, love untrue.
Innocence adorned their trusting eyes,
As love's sweet promise reached the skies,
But oh, how quickly dreams can fade,
When love's illusions start to cascade.
They gave their heart with open grace,
But found deception in love's embrace,
A soul once pure, now stained with tears,
A wounded heart that truly fears.
The words that cut like sharpened knives,
Echo in the depths of broken lives,
For love can wound as deep as hate,
Leaving scars that never dissipate.
But in this pain, there's strength to find,
A resilient spirit, heart and mind,
To rise above love's bitter sting,
And once again, let one's heart sing.
For time may heal what love did rend,
And broken hearts can surely mend,
In the ashes of a love that's scarred,
New beginnings find their place, unmarred.
So, let us not despair in woe,
For love's cruel wounds can help us grow,
And from the ashes of a love gone wrong,
We'll find the strength to sing our song.
