Love Poems

Debris of Memories

By layali mumtazPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In the dark of night, I look for your traces,

Among the stars that have lost their light,

The love that used to warmly embrace my heart,

Now it has become a painful memory.

In the twilight that we once sailed together,

There are remnants of words left unsaid,

Longing turns into fragments of feeling,

Falling apart in painful silence.

Fate separates us at the crossroads of time,

Even though my heart still chants your name,

Tears fall into my eyes,

Erasing the story I once knew.

Broken love, unbearable pain,

Like a wave crashing against a rock,

This fragile heart, torn apart by wounds,

Leaving behind shadows that never disappear.

But behind all this suffering,

There is a pinch of hope that never dies,

Even though our love has faded and disappeared,

Your memories will remain eternal in your soul.

I will keep the ruins of this love,

As a sign that we were there,

Even though fate doesn't favor dreams,

We loved once, and it was real.
