Love of the Winter

Love can be so very cold...

By Dee LivingstonPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Faces all around me…They don’t smile.

They stare back at me.

I’m living just to breathe

And, I need something more to

Keep me breathing--to stay alive.

Forgive me if I ask for

Something more.

Love of the winter--

Give me more...I want you, but I need so much more.

Your love is like the deadness of winter.

You can be so cold.

You’re running circles in the snow;

I feel the chill through your bones.

Your coolness makes me desire you more.

Your skin is as cold as the dead winter ground.

Your soul is

Frozen and

So is your

Heart.

I want you more...

Love of the winter.
