Love is like a candle, burning to the very end.
Love is like a child, who naively believes everything.
Love is like a guest, who arrives unexpectedly,
Leaving marks on our hearts, disappearing painfully.
Love is like the sun, returning life-givingly,
Each and every morning, it's worth a little more.

Author's note: I wrote this little poem in my native language first, but because of the dissimilarity of the two languages I couldn't make it rhyme in English. I've thought about inserting the original one, although I don't think anyone could read it, let alone understand it... So now I have a free verse poem, I hope you still like it...
