Love Me, Vampire

A poem

Offer me vermillion-bright eyes

Teeth so pearly-white they keep the howling moon up at night

A desire so frightening it freezes me in your embrace

Let me feel the piercing of canines and the latching onto veins

As my own crimson source leaves my body

A gift to you

As you hollow me fully, leaving just a shell to be filled by all that you are

Inject your essence, let it burn like this desire, an immortal bond

I am bound to you

As I feel your everything course through my body, searing electric

I'll take the pain if it means our unity is infinite

Lose everything if I gain you

Even if it almost kills me

Even if you did

But now, I am reborn

As yours for all of eternity

  • This is good. And steamy. And really well done, not a lot of novel vampire writing out there. Nice!
