A heart once full,

A heart once full, now aching sore,

A love once bright, now dimmed before.

A memory cherished, a dream deferred,

A love once loved, forever blurred.

The echoes linger, a haunting sound,

Of laughter shared, on hallowed ground.

The touch of hands, the warmth of eyes,

A love once lived, now lost in sighs.

The garden blooms, a vibrant sight,

But colors fade, without the light.

The music plays, a joyful tune,

But silence echoes, beneath the moon.

The words once spoken, now feel so strange,

A foreign language, hard to arrange.

The heart once open, now feels so cold,

A love once loved, a story untold.

The memories linger, a bittersweet pain,

A constant ache, a constant strain.

The love once shared, a precious art,

Now shattered pieces, torn apart.

The future's hazy, a clouded glass,

A love once loved, now lost in grass.

The hope once kindled, now flickers low,

A love once loved, a bitter blow.

Yet in the darkness, a flicker of light,

A memory cherished, a guiding sight.

A love once loved, forever true,

A part of me, a part of you.

Though love may fade, and hearts may break,

The memory lingers, for goodness' sake.

A love once loved, a precious art,

Forever etched, upon my heart.
