Love is Careful

Love not Harmful

Love is not reckless, it does not forget,

The ones left behind, the ones in regret.

It walks with the weary, it kneels with the poor,

It knocks on the forgotten's door.

Love is careful, it does not waste,

It knows the hunger, it knows the taste—

Of silent nights and empty hands,

Of broken dreams and shifting sands.

It does not flaunt, it does not boast,

It gives the least, it gives the most.

It warms the child with tattered shoes,

It lifts the soul with gentle hues.

Love is careful, it does not sleep,

When others struggle, when others weep.

It builds with kindness, it speaks with grace,

It sees the pain, it holds the space.

Not all have gold, not all have bread,

But love still lingers where hearts have bled.

A touch, a word, a careful glance,

A second chance—a second chance.
