Here I am,

Dancing alone all over this hall,

White, liquid-ash falling from my eyes,

Like dying branches on the white tree in

the garden,

I paint the floor with ashy tears,

From the ghost of a love I once

knew so well,

He physically touches me,

But my heart doesn't beat the same

intimacy as it used to,

His fingers run through me,

Like cold, icy water, that

never boils in the heat,

Love is like a portal,

It sucks me in,

And throws me out,

Turning my heart into

transparent water,

designed to turn me cold,

invisible to the heart,

And never to be truly loved.
