a poem

An energy

An intention

Your shot at redemption,

It’s power

It’s healing

And will have you kneeling,

As ego attaches

your mind is sent reeling,

Desperate to hold

onto this feeling

But if you put it first,

And value virtue,

It will rest in the space

heartbreak carved

into you

❤️

Written for the Vocal Challenge below. Sadly it won’t be a contender as my subscription lapsed, but I still wanted to take part! A brevity challenge for capturing the essence of love? Irresistible to me 🥰😘

Absolutely wonderful! 🩷 Stunning piece that captures so much about love in such a restricted word count! Shame it can't be entered and your subscription lapsed (mine's likely doing that when it's time to renew) would have loved to see this with a fair chance in the challenge! 🩷
