Love. Hate. Fear.

In a writing group tonight they gave us a quote from Ray Bradbury that said to make a list of 10 things I love, 10 things I hate and 10 things I fear. So I did that in the form of a poem.

I love A girl - She lives 6000 miles away. I wish I could see her every day.

I love Words - Ink drops on paper. simple words transformed into prose.

I love Flowers - The Texas Bluebonnet, the Lotus flower and the Rose.

I love Music - Soft and slow or loud and fast. I love Alt Music the very best.

I love Türkiye - The sites and sounds, the people and the food especially Dolma, I'd eat it every day if I could.

Love is effortless, if it's true. More people should choose to love than currently do.

I hate Racist - Their inability to look past the color of someone's skin.

I hate Fanatics - How they promote religion rather than act on it from within.

I hate Narcissist - And all the games they play with someone's mind.

I hate Billionaires - They have enough money and should be more kind.

I don't know how much sense it makes to hate anything, it takes too much effort, I think.

I fear Loneliness - The silence it brings, too much time with my thoughts.

I fear Change - One minute she's there, next she's gone. And it's all my fault.

I fear Loss - Losing someone, because when you do it can crush the spirit deep inside you.

I fear Memories - Even though they may have been good at the time, looking back on them just reminds me of what is no longer mine.

Fear is the worst. Sitting at my door, seeping through the floor, reminding me of losing those I once adored.
