Love, gone

Flowers, drifting in the icy waters of winter

By lover of literaturePublished 2 years ago 1 min read

The winter wind

Plays a tune of sorrow

Melancholy

Desolation and melancholy

Sadness

Freezing deep into the heart

The weeping wind

Carries away

Fragile petals

But cannot take away

A heart shattered

like petals

Flowers, fallen

Love, gone

Flowers, drifting in the icy waters of winter

Flowing away, flowing away

Love, lost in the vast sea of the earthly world

Confused, confused

Love, departed

Leaving behind

Indelible scars

As a tribute

To the love that has passed away
