Love For Days

Another day introduces itself to me

Its life so brief yet so profound

Don’t know how many more days I will get to see...

Mourning each ones’ death as its sun goes down

I am thankful at each morning’s birth

Oh how truly blessed I am

Those gone before me would vouch for each new days worth

Postcards from heaven via telegram

I should celebrate each new day with the life I live

No matter what its characteristics are

With presents of gratitude and happiness I should give

And before it would die, try, CPR

So cherished is each days life that I am a part of

Yet I often times do not even acknowledge it so

Never met one unworthy of my unconditional love

I love you each and every day, just thought I would let you know
