Ravaged

If I could tear you from my flesh

What parts of me remain

Until none of you is left

Cleanse the marrow, clear my brain

Rip the memories of desire

That seeped into my veins

An ever-raging pyre

Searing deeper, drenched in pain

That loving you, created

One sided at its best

Everything I hated

Lives here inside my chest

Abandoned and abused

Adopted as my own

In images of you

Mistrust is what you've sewn

Discarded and alone

I lie helpless in the mist

To die here on the road

Like a carcass that's been hit

Blinded by the light

Shielding the danger just behind

Disarming me of fight

And leaving me love blind

What a description of pain. Feelings let known. Good work.
