LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

Bitter Experience (2nd Poem)

By David Sylvester MeheuxPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

POEM- LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

I was eager to be in love for real friendship that was difficult to trace;

Finding the pathway was pathetic, as I languish the route day after day turmoil;

It was real struggle to identify my admirer in the chase of so many beauties;

The task seems herculean, but the outcome was not quite astonishing;

It became an imagination of great expectation, as the future blink of innocent;

It was a chance of selecting the best of all that was presented with eyes limitations;

The chosen one was a test of times, as the journey started with bundles of affections;

As the signals of love enlightens, the trails to express real happiness dampens slowly;

But patience, perseverance, turns out to be mere waste of precious time in vain;

The result brought severe pains with doubts pretentious future laid in darkness looming;

When time came to path away, it was like feather pulling out of a chicken arm;

It ended like smash of glass that blotted the eyes of the partner views at night;

The experience was a food for taught that the eyes of the blind must be opened.
