I saw a boy one day, in twilight’s tender sway,
He stood, where Childers play.
His eyes like a star, deep pools of midnight,
Held my heart, at just first glance.
***
With piercing lips like whispers, soft and sweet,
He cast a spell on me with his beauty mark.
Beneath his lip, a secret lies.
A mole, a whisper & a soft surprise.
***
Tattooed art on skin so dusky & fair,
Stories inked with fragile care.
His smile like a bunny breaks the dawn,
Melts my heart in just first glance.
***
Raven hairs, strands beneath the hood with a silken flow,
sketch his face in moonlit glow.
Captured my heart like a pro,
I longed to stand beside him & grow.
***
In that moment, love took flight,
Prisoned by his gentle light.
Love, my heart's first sight,
In your beauty, endless night.
