Let me

Let me be your angel

Melt away the day

With sweetness of kisses

While easing your mind

Let us lock away

The outside world

Put away all that has happened

Let me be your charm

Caresses to send away

All the stress from the day

Become my moon

As I shine like the sun

Just you and I

Beyond the time of the night

Let me do all that

Sweet purrs as song

To an unfinished manuscript

Waiting to be played

Notes yearning to be free

Spilling upon a sheet

Flowing to the piano keys

Caressed effortlessly

by you who plays

So let me be your angel

As you caress your beloved keys

That which is me

Peeking moon

Is that the moon I see?

Peeking through the trees?

Shining bright light a lamp post

In the night.

Trying to be seen

While remaining hidden so

She brings me peace

Makes me calm

As I stare out upon the night

At her.

Playing hide and seek

Behind the large tree

Lush and full

Of summer green.

Good night

Blessed moon

Perhaps another night

I shall be allowed

To dance beneath

Your gracious aura.

The Owl & the Moon

The Owl and the Moon

Have a date among the stars

They dance about

In their song

The owl hoots out

As it soars along

The moon simply replies

Like whispers in the wind

Saying i found you again

They dance about the evening

Until the stars begin to fade

When it is time again

For the moon and the owl

To slumber once again

Share with me

breathe with me

In waking dreams

As we lay here sharing

lingering whispers

Memories made

In the still of night

Questioning

What is real

And what are dreams

Lingering kisses

That become lost in

All feel surreal

Yet real all the same

Morpheus plays tricks

Upon us so

Teasing the night

And making time move slow

Then before we know it

The morning light arrives

He sped up the time

With a simple rhyme

Such sweet waking dreams

To play upon ones mind

As the day turns to night

Once more again

Simply so

Morpheus can play his games

Upon to lovers of time

Stealing away

Such time they share

In the waking of dreams

And lingering whispers

So breath with me

Until the night turns to day

As we share in sweetness

Of songs, stories, and kisses

Fate Whispers

how many times

The hours grow late

We hold close

And find our peace

brand new dreams

We discover together

Day grows late

In shadowed gardens

We stand close

Dancing in small sways

Nothing more

Nothing less

We pass the time

Like nothing will end

This moment in time

Like never before

Bliss created by lore

We now share

We find nothing more

Needed to be found

Fate Whispers

In our ears

Past forbidding Morpheus

His jealousy grows

In the forest silence

spell binding kisses

Captured upon sweet lips

Tasting of fine wine

We questioned

Once before

If this was all real

Or merely a dream

A dream we share

Is more than real

An unfinished manuscript

Of a love we share

Her Calm in His Arms

She wakens up to a new day

Hoping for change

She shies away as the day

Grows on

The harshness and

The cruelty that comes

Never failing to creep up

She pushes forward

As best she can

Her mind races on

Bringing what ifs

And more as she gets to thinking

She must not let anyone see

Her weakness deep within

She cries alone

In silence

When in reality

She needs to scream

Until night falls

She holds it all in

Alone where no one else will see

She lays upon her pillow

Allowing tears to silently escape

He returns

Wrapping caring arms

Around her gently

Pushing away all fears

He guards her dreams

Playing soft melodies

To ease away all things

His words of kindness

Bringing her peace

His touch

His arms

wrapped around her

Bringing calm to her mind

All her fears escape her mind

As he quiets her restless

And racing mind

She slumbers more at ease

As he brings peace

A song

sing me a song

Upon the

summer storm

A quiet rumbling thunder;

The harmony

For you to begin.

Twilight rises

The sky burns bright

As night captures

The world in its grasp.

Sing me a song

Upon the

night sky

Filled with stars

That reflect in our eyes;

Filling our hearts

With the melodies

That flow freely so.

Sing me a song

Of a love so soft

Teach me its true

Let it be so.

The quiet of night

In the quiet of the night

Even there, is a soft lull of sound

Soft and unspoken

As the air turns crisper

The faint aroma of burning wood;

Fire places roaring to life

Into the wee hours of morning

The hunter,

Orion begins his slow climb

Across the night sky

Your sign that autumn begins

Cooler nights shall continue on

As September makes her way in

Summer fades into fall

A beautiful time of the year

Beautifully velvet

Velvet Words

Upon tongues

In the wee hours

Of the stolen night

Delicate fingers

Lightly tracing

Along soft curves

Of silken skin

Delicately trailed kisses

Of Whispers never shared

Within the shadows

Of candlelight glow

Tender caresses

Along velvety curves

White silken sheets

Under kisses that make

Shadows Melting

The world disappears

As the night

Slowly becomes dawn

Once again

As we become lost

Within each other

Home

She lays awake

Wrapped in his arms

Listening to the silence

Of the evening night

Such serene calmness

That envelopes her

From such sounds

Nothing happening

In the world

At such hours of the night

She snuggles in more

To his arms

Safe arms

That hold her the night long

As gentle breezes

Kiss their bare skin

Peace and calm

Wash over her

She lays awake

In the arms of home

9.5.2020

Sweet timed wine

Such sweet wine

Aged to perfection

Only grows sweeter

In its nectars

Over the ages

If time allows

Then granted it to pass upon

Lips that are sweeter still

Even more

Ode to the forgotten lover

She hides herself away

Almost as though she was a statue

Lost among the ruins

Over grown by the earth

Once more

Back to the nature

Where she belonged

Longing for a love

She had once known before

Even as the creature she was

She could still feel such a thing

Such a power the love creature was

A hold beyond time

Beyond words

Alas,

She became one with the building

The ivy vines that wrapped about her

She welcomed the homely feeling

They gave over her

Like a lovers embrace

She really longed for

She was the forgotten one

Doomed to be alone

Perhaps she will be here

As such forever more

Such a sad story she would tell

Should she return as her willow way

A simple grove of

Swaying branches upon a breeze

Even that would remind her

Of dear caresses so

For now

This forgotten lover

Shall slumber so

In ivy wrapped closely around her so

Glimmer shade

Mysterious glimmer of sun's rays

Filter through

silent branches

Swaying gently in the breeze

Golden glow upon waters

Gathered upon shorelines

For lovers to gaze

Hand in hand

Arm in arm

They keep close

Watching such splendor

Mysterious and magnificent

Both in one array

Day turns to night

In glimmer shade

As the sun beds

And moon rises once again

Mysterious glimmer of the moon

Now cast shadows

Down upon the land
